Happy Mother’s Day
We wish all the mothers and all those who play the role of mothers in our parish a very happy Mother’s Day and pray that God will bless you with his joy this blessed day. This Sunday is called Laetare Sunday meaning ‘Rejoice’. The priest may wear rose colour vestment today.
Traditionally it was the day that servants were allowed to return home to their ‘Mothering’ Church.
