MESSAGE FROM FR JOHNSON– Dear Parishioners,
As I prepare to leave this wonderful parish community due to my VISA expiry, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. I have been part of this parish from 2024 to 2026, and these years have been truly special. During this time, I have also been serving alongside the communities of Ashford, Southampton, Croydon and Worthing. This is one of the best communities I have ever been part of. Thank you for your kindness, support and prayers throughout my time here.
I have been blessed to worship, serve and share many wonderful moments. The warmth and sense of belonging I found in this parish will always remain in my heart. Please know that I will continue to pray for all of you and for this parish community. I humbly ask that you keep me in your prayers as I begin this new chapter in my life. The words of St. Paul in his letter to the Philippians beautifully express my feelings today: “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy” Philippians 1:3-4
