Happy Mother’s Day
We wish all the mums of our parish a very Happy Mother’s Day and pray that God will bless you with his joy this blessed day. We also celebrate today as Laetare Sunday meaning ‘Rejoice’. As traditionally it was the day that servants were allowed to return home to their ‘Mothering’ Church. The priest may wear rose colour robes today.
