MESSAGE FROM FR PAUL

On behalf of the Parish team and Fr Johnson I would like to wish all the parishioners a Very Merry Christmas. May the joy and peace Jesus bring us, sustain you in your Family life and relationships. God Bless you.

Please accept my deepest gratitude to all who volunteered and ministered in our Christmas celebrations with reverence and joy –especially our readers, Extra -ordinary ministers of the Eucharist, Sacristans, our choir, altar servers, welcoming ministers and all other volunteers. Our thanks also go to all those ‘behind the scene’ – all who helped in cleaning, maintenance, flowers, displays and all who got the church ready in any way. Thank you too, for the generosity you shown the clergy through many cards and gifts for Christmas. May God Bless and replenish you a hundred-fold.

Prayer to the Holy Family

Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
in you we contemplate
the splendour of true love; to you we turn with trust.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
grant that our families too
may be places of communion and prayer, authentic schools of the Gospel
and small domestic churches.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may families never again experience violence, rejection and division;
may all who have been hurt or scandalized find ready comfort and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
make us once more mindful
of the sacredness and inviolability of the family, and its beauty in God’s plan.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Graciously hear our prayer.
Amen.
